The 14 Fibs of Gregory K. my opinion

Okay. I'm going to make this clear, this is NOT a book review. I just wanted to say what this book means to me . In The 14 Fibs of  Gregory K; he hates math, but loves to write poetry. I can relate to this. I hate history, and grammar, and sometimes math. But I love to cartoon. Please do not get mad at me all you history-grammar-math lovers, I'm not saying that they are terrible subjects. But why do we study them? I guess after reading this book, it kind of tells you why these things are so important. In my eyes, I've always asked: 'When I get older, I'm going to draw comics for a living. History and math doesn't help with that. And sure grammar is important with any kind of writing, but I'm drawing! Why does it matter if you know this or not?' Well, I guess if your life goes a different way, then these things are important to know.  If you've also got trouble with one subject, and don't know why it's important, I suggest reading The 14 Fibs of Gregory K.

MAGIC! It's all about magic for Robbie Darko, he can pull a table cloth out from under the dishes on the table, and make a fire with it! But, he wants to learn more then that! When his Grandma Melvyn comes

Grandma Melvyn is having knee surgery, but she needs to stay at Robbie's house so she can "rest" but does this so called "rest" involve magic?  Now there's the school talent show, Robbie needs to have an act! And, he's got one. He encounters a weird magic glass cabinet in his garage, turns out to be Grandma Melvyn's magic glass cabinet! Grandma finds him examining it and decides to teach Robbie some magic! He gets Cat (a friend of his) to help with the magic act! Now, of course Grandma Melvyn thinks Cat isn't good enough to be Robbie's partner for the magic act, but ya know when you throw a peanut butter and jelly taco at the T.V it can TOTALLY change someones mind, correct? With the help of Cat and Grandma Melvyn will Robbie finally get the round of applause he has been waiting for his whole entire life, or will he fail miserably? Celdra, Tommy, and Petra have a problem. The enormous house outside of Tommy's window is being demolished because it is a piece of art. It is being put in the museums and away from Hyde Park, and Celdra, Tommy, and Petra try to save the house with there fellow classmates. After finding out the house might be alive they sneak into the house.

Can you imagine your family being a part of a secret society of art protectors?  Well welcome to Anna, Henry, and Jose's life!

Capture the Flag, by Kate Messner, is an absolute adventure and a fun read.  3 kids who have never met each other become stuck in an airport together because of a drastic storm.  The end up meeting and learning that they have one special thing in common, their parents are all part of a secret society of art protectors.  They find out that the original American Flag has been stolen.  They figure out the flag and the thiefs are in the airport.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure and books.  This book made me think!  If you are interested in books like National Treasure where American History is involved, then you will want to read this book.

Escape From Mr.Lemoncello's Library

  Kyle Keeley is obsessed with puzzles, board games, video games, and anything that has the word game in it. Sisters

Meanwhile the younger sister she wishes she didn't have is rocking her life as a kid. These kids are both sassy, and even though Raina is only about to be in high-school, she acts like she's 22!
Imagine those two girl and there obnoxious little brother Will all crammed in one car for three weeks. All kinds of crazy things happen on this trip such as monster storms, blazing heat, a broken down vehicle, and when they finally get to Colorado, snobby cousins.
When the kids find out that they haven't been told all of the truth, they realize they need to work together- and get along. They are sisters after all.

Island of The Blue Dolphins

         In Island of the Blue Dolphins, Katana's island was attacked by Aleuts and their chief goes to get help from another country.  After many suns and moons their chief returns with a boat and they leave but her brother is not on the boat! So she jumps into the water and swims to the island to her brother. Later on when they're in the village she wakes up and her brother is gone eventually she figures out that the wolves killed him. Then she makes it her mission to kill the leader dog. Later on she does a man's job and thinks that the island will split open and swallow her because she did a man's job. When she has a chance to kill the leader dog when he is weak she doesn't for some reason. So instead of killing him she takes him home and makes him her pet. When she tames him they become good friends. Eventually she catches two birds and makes them her pets too. Eventually her dog Ronto dies in a fight with the other dogs. Read the rest of the story to figure out what happens. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good warm hearted book.

   Do you like a book with a good scare? Well then you are going to love this report.( Maybe.)It is about the original story of Dracula by Bram Stoker.
   This story is about a realtor who has no idea of what he is about to face. His name is Jonathan Harker and his client's name is... you guessed it! Dracula. When he knocks on the door of Dracula's castle, Dracula invites him in. But soon, Jonathan will find out that he is imprisoned and cannot leave. While the weeks pass,Jonathan finds out Dracula's secret. Automatically, he thinks that Dracula is going to drink his blood and kill him, but Dracula has other reasons he is keeping Jonathan prisoner.
   I recommend this book to anyone who like a scary story with romance, adventure, and has many good cliffhangers that keep you reading and interested. Or even someone that wants to try something new.
